The Rizzles Girls Admins in conjunction with Joy Thomas are very proud to announce that RizzlesCon 2012 is officially happening. Tomorrow, the website will go live, and you’ll be able to see the details on who has confirmed appearances, what we have planned, and a lot of other information that just makes us super excited for everyone!
Already there are a strong group of volunteers assisting with preparation, and we assure you things are moving splendidly. This community of fans is amazing, and we’re honored and delighted to be a part of it. What’s more, we’re practically giddy with the idea of everyone who can being able to meet together so we can all take some time to appreciate the family that we’ve created here online.
The RGB Admins and Joy are dedicated to making this convention an extraordinary experience for everyone, and we promise to do our very best to make it an event you’ll never forget.

Global fans organize the inaugural Rizzoli & Isles convention
RizzlesCon 2012 is the ultimate event for all Rizzoli & Isles fans. The first fan-focused convention for this hit TNT show offers attendees a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to immerse themselves behind the scenes. Interactive panel discussions with R&I cast and crew, unique photo and autograph opportunities, a series of fan-focused workshops, specially invited table vendors and the RizzlesCon party; the event will give every true fan the chance to celebrate and share their passion for all things Rizzles. RizzlesCon 2012 is set to create memories for the attendees that will last a lifetime.

Friday, July 20 – Sunday, July 22, 2012Highlights of the event include an exclusive ‘LGBT and the Media’ panel discussion moderated by Trish Bendix, (Managing Editor of afterellen.com), which will have highly-recognizable panel members from all areas of entertainment industry. Already signed up are Grammy nominated singer/musician Sophie B. Hawkins and Director/Writer Gigi Gaston.
Already confirmed to attend the convention are Sasha Alexander (Dr. Maura Isles), Lorraine Bracco (Angela Rizzoli), series creator Janet Tamaro, character originator and novelist Tess Gerritsen and other senior members of the highly commended Rizzoli & Isles crew.
This event is a collaborative effort of fans based in the UK and the USA. It’s a not-for-profit event and tickets go on sale in early 2012. Tickets will be strictly limited to this brand new event and some levels include exclusive RizzlesCon 2012 merchandise – tickets go on sale in early 2012, they are predicted to sell out quickly.

My first try at making a manip. Wallpapers for the RizzlesGirls Blog’s Photo Challenge. Most of the work was done in paint.net, so it’s not the best work ever.
I made two different ones, I couldn’t not make a Gayzzoli and IsLes one, haha!
I freaking LOVE this.
Season 2 is fast approaching us, and, with it, comes a need. No, not that need (but, yes, that need, too). The need we’re referring to, of course, is the need to see our ladies’ bright, shining faces as wallpapers and screensavers to get us ready for the Main Event on July 11th.
We thought, perhaps, you ladies might pull out your creative sticks and come up with such a thing. In fact, we challenge you!
We challenge you to come up with a wallpaper that will show our ladies at their finest along with what you would like to see happen in Season 2.
Ground Rules:
- No Nudity (sorry, folks, let’s keep this out of the X rated section)
- It must have both Jane and Maura (or Angie and Sasha) somewhere
- There must but at least one thing in the picture that demonstrates what you would like to see happen in season two. It doesn’t have to be a photo manipulation of the ladies doing whatever it is, but there should be a representation of that idea somewhere.
- This must be a new photo manipulation/wallpaper/screensaver. If you’ve posted elsewhere before, please don’t submit it here.
- You must post the photo somewhere all can see it without having to signup for an account.
- A link to the posted photo must be in the reply to this RGB blog entry regarding this challenge.
- All blog entries should be entered by Tuesday, June 28th.
