Anonymous asked: How do you know it's fake? I mean, I could really see her typing that out, snickering to herself, and then realising just moments after posting how unbelievably stupid it was. She's been known to talk before she thinks at times, and deleting tumblr posts and tweets after reality's hit her. I'm just saying that just because we can't see the tweet on her feed anymore, it doesn't mean it wasn't there before. So I think it'd be highly plausible for her to tweet something like that. (cont.)
(cont.) That being said, that’s what makes this trolling so good. I actually had to sit down with the troll’s tweets and google translate to gather enough information to conclude it to be fake. I just think the fandom’s a bit naïve at times, and maybe if you backed up your theory and told of how you’ve come to know this (instead of just stating it as a fact) it would both encourage them to think for themselves and draw their own conclusions, AND have them not dismiss your post as the untrue one.
Yeah, I know she’s notorious for deleting things, but you have to think about this for a moment.
This “tweet” clearly shows that it was retweeted. Even if she had deleted her original tweet, the retweets would still be out there, and this fandom is quicker on gossip than a group of church women in Bible Study.
That retweet would be everywhere.
What’s more, it would be all over tumblr with links to where people found it. It’d be all over every message board, and it’s a big enough tweet coming from a showrunner that serious gossip sites like AfterEllen.com’s Dorothy Snarker would have had to say something about it.
But where is it? It’s not all over twitter in retweets. The accounts that supposedly retweeted it don’t have it up anywhere. It’s nowhere.
Because it’s a fake.
Remember when @JaneRizzoli cracked these jokes all the time? Yeah… Maura’s really tamed her over the years.
